Publicado originalmente por Sparhawk122:What the heck is everyones' obsession for co-op. ![]() It's like adding co-op into games like Amnesia and Outlast, those games would no longer be scary. Not everyone has these communities and it seems as if these games are catered to these easy life entitled people of who wouldn't know a story or lore or atmosphere in a game if it hit them on the head.Īnyway, if you want to be scared, experience the chills and thrills of this game with a 'true horror' experience, playing by yourself instead of with a buddy is the way to go as the opposite would only detract from these elements and even ruin them. It's like these games are designed specifically for the young audience of who live in areas with fast fibre optic internet, with friends who play the same games at the same time on speed dial. Content, side missions that you can't play by yourself but only with another in a what should be primarly single player story with online MP being an extra. ![]() But now games like this include content that can only be accessed via co-op just like what Dead Space 3 (which co-op ruined) had. ![]() Would not care so much pertaining to the game having co-op, since there's usually the option to still play by yourself in a game like this. You know what co-op does in a game like this, detracts from the horror elements, pushes the story to the side as I've rarely played with another who actually paces himself and tries to follow the story because it's all about those 'kills', the leaderboards. What the heck is everyones' obsession for co-op.
